Brian Thornton

brian-thorntonBrian is the principal of Cragg Braye & Thornton and Accent Conveyancing. He completed his legal studies through the Solicitors Admission Board in 1983 and was admitted to practice in 1984. In 1997 he obtained a graduate diploma in taxation studies through the University of New South Wales and went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration with a specialisation in marketing through the University of Newcastle. He is also a Notary Public. He is a keen pilot and has completed a number of charity flights, including Angel Flights.

Kirstin Fulcher

kirstin-fulcherKirstin is a solicitor with Cragg Braye & Thornton and Accent Conveyancing. Kirstin completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws through the University of New England. She then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice through the College of Law. Kirstin was admitted to practice in 2008, initially practicing in Muswellbrook, where she completed her schooling. Kirstin commenced practicing with Cragg Braye and Thornton and Accent Conveyancing in August 2009. Her interests include dining out, travel, shopping and reading James Patterson novels.

Kerry Clarke

kerry-clarkeKerry is the Conveyancing clerk at Accent Conveyancing and a JP. Kerry has over 24 years of experience within the legal system. Kerry is accomplished in all aspects of Conveyancing including vacant land, residential, rural, strata, commercial contracts and leases. She is most likely your initial contact person with Accent Conveyancing. Kerry has a love of animals and is in regular attendance at dog shows with her daschunds.

Ashleigh Smith

ashleigh-smithAshleigh started working with Cragg Braye and Thornton and Accent Conveyancing when she was 16 years old, she completed her traineeship within a year and started full time as a Personal Assistant to Brian Thornton and Kirstin Fulcher. After working as part of the team for just over 5 years Ashleigh took a break from the firm. Ashleigh returns to Accent Conveyancing after spending 12 months working for an American based international product and service company with a strong Australian presence. Providing clients with first class service is her priority. Ashleigh assists Kerry with conveyancing. Ashleigh has represented Singleton in sports including netball and touch football. On weekends you will find Ashleigh spending time with her nieces and nephew who brighten up her weekends after a week in the office.

Alf Braye

Alf was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 1956. He is a consultant and attends regularly to consult, particularly in relation to old system conveyancing matters.

Dr David Meredith

David was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 2004. He was formerly employed full time and is now a consultant. He provides timely consulting advice when needed and has provided general advice in relation to chemicals used in fracking, a potential complex area when buying farmland.
